About MBI

Marching Bears, Inc. is an independent, non-profit organization acting independent of the Norwalk Board of Education, dedicated to the activities of the Norwalk High School Band Program. Its main purpose is to provide financial support through non-profit fundraising.

The 2010-11 elected officers are:

Ways you can support the band!

*** Can & Bottle Drive: Andrew's Field Please show up anytime between 9 am - 1 pm to help, on the second Saturday of the month. Contact Chuck Goulart for more information.

*** Grocery Certificates: Remember to use Stew Leonard's, Stop & Shop or Shop Rite certificates when you shop for groceries.  Up to 10 cents on each dollar spent goes directly to the band.

*** Pennies for the Band: We will gladly accept your pennies or other loose change for the "Penny Fund." This ongoing fundraiser provides special items for the band. During the last few years we have purchased marimba keys, a new xylophone and crotales. The penny jar will be at the monthly general meeting and at the evening practices.
